“Leo” I whisper and lean on his chest without wanting to, I start to giggle.

“Stop doing that” he says and starts to put kisses on my shoulder. “You continue to provoke me again and again and you know very well the effect you have on me. "

"But I don't know...tell me Leo. What effect do I have on it?" I whisper softly in his ear, getting up from the bed and sitting on top of him.

I put my legs on one side and the other of his hips and with my hands I cup his sculpted chest, causing him to let out a moan and close his eyes.

"Did you say something?" I ask them, amused by the way they still react to my simple touch. "I don't think I heard you right"

"My love Izzy...words are precious in this situation, but I'm going to show you the effect you have on me" and in one movement Leo rolls on the bed with me, making me wrap my legs around him, and without thinking, he starts kissing my half naked body.

“Leo,” I whispered but before I could say something else and tease him he started to kiss my neck.”

“O my goddess!” I whispered in the most blissful pleasure I ever felt. He is kissing the place where he will mark me.

“Goddess?” he asks, laughing. “There is no such thing. It's just us here on Earth. Humans, or if we're talking specifically, people in love." and saying this he started to suck from the place where one day I can only hope that he will find out what I am made of.

"You're going to give me a bruise! and laughing, I push him lightly. "Stop it, Leo! How am I going to go to work like this?"

Leo doesn't even blink and immediately goes lower and lower, until he reaches my clavicle and starting to laugh he asks:

"I love you so much, Izzy. You are mine, and I will make your body full of love bites so that everyone in this world knows that you are mine!"

How can you resist something like that?

I looked into his eyes and put my hands around his neck.

Sensing me, Leo stopped and, kissing my lips lightly, whispered.

"Be mine, Izzy. Please...be mine, don't run from me anymore."

"What are you talking about?" I asked him a little confused.

"Is he asking us to be with him officially?" Mila, my wolf asked, wagging her tail in my mind.

"I love you Izzy, I love you so much that it hurts. I am sick of staying away from you. Move with me, live with me, marry me, for God's sake! Just be mine!"

“He is really doing it!” Mila howls. “He wants us!”

"I love you too, shit! I love you so much!" I tell him jumping into his arms and bursting into tears.

"Will you marry me, then?" he asks again, and I feel my heart beating so strongly that I am convinced that it will soon explode.

"I will.." I start to say, but right then the door opens and from the doorway, my one and only worst enemy alive, my husband stands and looks at us.

"Marry you?" and he starts to laugh like a madman.

I was never so scared. But what scared me the most is that my kids are with him, holding them tight. They are crying.

"I'm sorry mommy" My twelve year old daughter said. "We tried to keep him away but he beaten us and force us to tell him where you are"

"You whore!" Armand said.

Armand push the kids out, while my sixteen-year-old son tries to stop him, but Armand slaps him across the face and tells him commandingly:

"Get out now, she doesn't deserve all your effort! Why are you defending her What are you going to do?" and pushing the child, he takes him outside and closes the door behind him.

"Stay away from her!" Leonardo shouted at Armand, making my heart jump out of my chest.

"Stop him, Mila. He is human, he is not a match for this monster" but I don't have time to finish what I have to say because Armand is already near us and pushing Leo with force, makes him almost fly from the room and throws it into the wall across from us.

I hear his bones cracking and I hear him grinding his teeth in pain, trying to hide his suffering and not to panic. But I have a werewolf. And he is a human. I know what it means for him to be hit like that.

"Stop it, Armand!" I shout, trying to put myself between him and Leo, but this is also what Armand wants. His plan is to show Leo that he is not able to appear to me, his plan is to humiliate him as he humiliated me for more than thirteen years.

"I'm sick of you!" he said growling and before having the chance to say something or to try to defend myself he punched me in my face, putting me down with just a single punch.

"Mila, help me!" I cry in panic, but she is already scared because she knows what's next. We've seen this so many times... He forces me to get up from the floor and another punch lands on my face. I will definitely have a hunted eye tomorrow, at least one. And it is equally certain that no make-up, no matter how successful it is, will not be able to hide the traces of this day.

Punch, kick, punch and a kick again and now I can't even breathe.

"You will kill her, you stupid jerk!" Leo yelled at Armand, making him startle and wake up from the frenzy that had engulfed him.

When Armand starts throwing punches, he can't stop. He wants to beat me so much that only when he realizes that I'm almost out of breath does he manage to stop.

In the last thirteen years he cheated on me daily, he forced me to see him doing it some times and unfortunately even our children witnessed the show he offers.

But now he is too much…

He looks at me and I know that he has something else in his mind.

He wants to make me suffer even more than he did and squeezing his eyes at me , he catch me by my neck, dragging me in front of Leo.

“Tell me, wifey..” he said laughing “Why do you care so much for this human?”

And punching me one more time, so hard that I collapse on the ground and I am not able to move from there. I see him going to Leo, and lifting him from the ground as if he weighs nothing.

“ You touched my wife with your hands, didn't you?‘ he asked, strangling him.

“Did you do something else to her too?” and he gives him a head in his mouth , causing blood to burst from his nose and mouth.

“Don’t touch her again!” Leo said with difficulty. “Is it not her fault!”

But his words triggered something in Armand and he props him against the wall and says to me:

“He is you fated mate, isn’t he?” and with a lot of range starts to beat Leo.

“Stop it! You will kill him!” I yell as hard as I can but Armand keeps hitting him again and again. Leo is on the floor.

“Is this why you cheated on me?” Armand asked and turned around, looking at me.

“Of course he is. You are to stupid to cheat on me, you will only risk everything for your mate”

I know that this will not end well. It may be the end…for me, for Leo…Shit! I can’t let him die.

But I don’t even finish this thought that Armand elongates his claws , laughing in may face and says:

“You will pay for this. You made me come here for this piece of shit!” and in one move he sticks his claws in Leo’s chest.

“Noooooo!”I shout crying my heart out but he punches me in my face and I am just…out. like usual.
